A normal day at our imaginative, play-rich preschool is filled with loads of laughter, learning, and integral developmental growth for your child.
Our play-based, hands-on program caters to whole-child development (physical, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual growth). Our aim is to prepare children to become accountable primary school learners: mindful of themselves, others and their surroundings, and hone a passionate outlook on life and continued growth.
Drop-off is flexible, typically between 8:00 to 8:30 am where we wait with open arms for our little ones to join us in outdoor student-driven play. We then venture off to our separate classes: Bumble Bees (18 months to 2/3 year olds), Geckos (3 to 4/5 year olds) and Grade R (4/5 – 6 year olds) for morning circle-time.
From 9:00 to 10:00 am we flow between teacher-guided and pupil-chosen activities, designed to enrich our students’ cognitive and problem-solving skills. There are two snack breaks at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. From 11:00 am until 12:00 pm we explore various learning areas – season and weather dependent – these could vary from campus walks, shade protected song or dance-times or even costume play and dress-up adventures (a varied program keeps the kids active and engaged).
Our day ends at 1:00 pm with a cool-down story and heartfelt hugs and goodbyes followed by pick up, which begins promptly at 2:00 pm.
